BRIDGES OVER WATER

The bridge over the water on the 12^th hole is part of the penalty area.

 

OUT OF BOUNDS

1. Outside the boundaries of the course.
2. Clubhouse and its enclosure and car park.
3. Machinery compound.

 

INTERNAL OUT OF BOUNDS

Practice area located right of the 13^th tee box.

 

OVERHEAD WIRES

A ball striking the overhead wires MUST be replayed, without penalty.

 

IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS

1. Pump house on the 17^th
2. Fixed seats, waste bins and ball washer support.
3. ESB poles.
4. All pathways including hard, stone and Astro-turf surfaces.
5. Embedded rocks.
6. All steps and railway sleepers.
7. All flowerbeds.
8. Stake supported trees (including the stakes and animal protection materials.)
9. Irrigation control boxes and sprinkler heads.
10. Distance markers and storm drain covers.
11. Surface stone drains.
12. All stakes defining penalty areas.

GROUND UNDER REPAIR

Areas which are GUR play prohibited will be clearly marked as “GUR Play Prohibited”.

Recently re-turfed/newly sodded areas are deemed GUR.

 

BUNKER STEPS

Bunker steps are considered part of the general area and not part of the bunker.

ABNORMAL COURSE CONDITION – COURSE DRAINAGE

All ground disturbed by the installation of course drainage is deemed GUR

 

ADDITIONAL RULE

1.Boundary stakes left of H10.

2.Areas of disturbed earth marked

3.Tree stumps – free drop (CGC local rule)

4.Staked trees free drop

5.Open drain H11 free drop

6.Pump house H17 is immovable obstruction free drop

7.Anything else is defined under the rules of golf.
